Nestled in beautiful South Jersey is Batsto Village. One of the best preserved sites that I highly recommend visiting if you have the time.

We were lucky to be invited to photograph a young woman ,her date ,and a few of their friends before they headed off to their prom at the beginning of June . Renee looked stunning from her makeup right down to her dress. Renee’s smile sparkled even more than her dress if that is even possible. Her date Ethan was just as handsome in his attire and his eyes shined so bright when looking at Renee that you can see the love between these two.  We of course had to make sure to include the family of these two after all the pre-prom photos are usually the time families get to go camera happy,so for them to let us snap photos of their loved ones and share in the moment made us feel special. Their friends were just as cooperative with us as they were with their family members and each of them looked great too!  We watched the kids as they made their way to their cars to dance the night away.

Hello everyone! I know we haven’t posted in quite some time now, but in the upcoming months we will be posting some more wedding photos. I know Kristy and I get asked a lot about what we offer and the number one question is always for how much, so I thought I’d give a brief explanation here.

What we offer besides great customer service is an affordable price for everyone looking to get photos taken.  When we came up with our prices we wanted to keep our customers in mind to ensure they received great quality prints as well as great quality digital prints. Yes your Craigslist photographer is cheap, but do you really want to chance it because they are offering their service at a cheaper price. You have to wonder what they are cutting in order to make it cheaper.

We use a professional printer and no I am not referring to some retail chain.  We have studied the art of photography through books (oh so many from lightning techniques to posing); as well as gained experience from experts in the different aspects of photography. We are learning more Photoshop techniques to keep up with customer demands, however we still prefer natural beauty in our photos then manipulating it. We also like to experiment (safely of course) with the elements as you seen in our blog A Fiery Engagement .

We do offer some light retouching to photos we are not evil monsters after all.   We offer two photographers for the price of one because we are determined to make sure you are customer happy! We offer flexible payment plans if needed as well as flexible meeting times. Again our number one goal is to ensure we leave our customers feeling happy and satisfied in choosing the right photographer.

So finally after a lot of rain, wind, and scheduling conflicts we were able to shoot our engagement/ save the date photos. After a few trials we got some really fun photos out of it, but also learned the difficulties of working with a “live” element.

Had a nice couple days relaxing and hiking all over parts of NJ.From The Red Mill in Clinton , to the Ken Lockwood Gorge river, and finally ended up at Island Beach State Park.

An engaged couple contacted us and asked us if we can do something different for their save the date photos. What can we say we LOVE different and to try things without the aid of photo shop manipulation. We asked them what they had in mind and they said they”d love fire photography with them involved in the photos. We have sat around and studied and prepared and finally got to test some shots. We are still in our testing period as the couple has given us time to prepare for their final shots. We must warn you not to try this at home on your own this can be dangerous and deadly.We will not be held liable or responsible if you do not heed our  warning and are dumb enough to try this on your own all responsibility and liability will be on yourself. We worked under extreme caution and extensive knowledge on how to prepare for this so please do not be dumb and try this . Come back soon to see  final results! Jan 27 2016 Update: We have not finished our final results as of yet thanks to the cold weather and blizzard ,but before the bad weather came  we did give it another shot and the results are below as we now had the couple to work with that night.

We had the pleasure of taking our good friends semi engagement photos shortly after their engagement and now another set as a follow up just before casino online their wedding. here is a their favorites from each and the gallery of both is here

There’s just something magical watching hot air balloons launch into the air. Man in flight with no metal no engines just fire and an envelope. one year i hope to go up for a ride but this year all the magic was from the ground.  Full gallery available here.

Sometimes life gets in the way and i cant always get to take all the photos i want. Fortunately this season was able to get in one great show before life got in the way. Our favorite two are here but the full gallery is at

Some places are left behind to decay and rot . These are places that nature or teenagers take a hold of and make it an interesting place to photograph. Brooksbrae Brick is just one of those places off on the side of the road lost inside of nature.  You can see that this old brick factory has become one with nature and the young.  Some created art some created clever sayings. To us it created a great photo opportunity.

“Let’s go find the waterfall in South Mountain finally!” I said on a boring Sunday afternoon . Jason and I hiked this mountain at least a dozen times and never found any waterfalls which we knew where there. The hike ended up being a bust because we did not find the major waterfall we were looking for ,but it did turn out that we did find one. As you can see in these photos we did spot one waterfall . The pictures explain it’s breathtaking beauty and natures majestic creations.

Three hours of walking and searching for the elusive Red Fox and as we get in the car to leave it came to us . We rushed out the car just to find out that this beautiful creature was one of the best models we could ever ask for . In these pictures we captured the mystic and slick looks the fox had offered us in the shoot. We even were lucky enough to get him posing candidly.

A cold day an autumn where love warmed the day. This beautiful couple gave us their all and it shows through to the photos we captured. Just by taking a look at them  you can see the endearing looks they offer one another as well as their tender embraces.  Love was  truly evident that day and we wish them nothing ,but happiness for their future.

Some people may fear going into an abandon warehouse , but not Jason who was far more excited about seeing what photos he could capture.  Jason trudged through the snow to this abandoned warehouse to see what unknown beauty awaited him and his camera. He was astounded by the vibrant colors and the loneliness of the graffiti left behind. When you take a look at these photos you can see how the people who marked the walls put their time into making sure you know they were there. Some may call graffiti destruction ,but you can clearly see the beauty of its form of art.
